Finnish Lapphund recognized as a "listed breed" by the CKC

On December 15, 2006, CKC have announced the results of the members's poll in regards to what breeds of dog  would be categorized as a "listed breed".  This followed the elimination of the CKC Miscellaneous Group.

 Finnish Lapphund have been approved to be a listed breed and is group under Group 7 Herding Group.

 The complete list of dog breeds that are categorized as listed breed are as follows

 

ANATOLIAN SHEPHED GROUP 7
AUSTRALIAN KELPIE GROUP 7
BLACK RUSSIAN TERRIER GROUP 3
FINNISH LAPPHUND GROUP 7
kLEINER MUNSTERLANDER GROUP 1
MUDI GROUP 7
SHIKOKU GROUP 2
TATRA SHEPHERD DOG GROUP 7
TIBETAN MASTIFF GROUP 3

 

The above "listed breeds" would be eligible to compete on July 1, 2007
